“Oh my god. You’re Rachel Berry. Uh, you-you have the right to remain-”
“Oh, okay, you are not reading me my rights, DEB. Why don’t you put the gun down and let me get back to my disaster of a date, okay?” Rachel cocked her gun back at the blonde and sighed impatiently.
“Put your gun-Wait, date? What-that girl? So you’re-” Quinn arched a brow. Rachel Berry, the infamous diamond thief, was gay? Well, that put a damper on her theory. Or maybe it explained everything. Her head was reeling.
“Yeah, okay. What’s it to you, DEB?”
Quinn stood silent for a moment before shaking her head. “Stop-stop that! My name is Quinn. Quinn Fabray. And you are under arrest. Oh my god, I can’t believe I’m arresting Rachel Berry! I bet I won’t even have to turn in my paper on you now.”
Rachel’s feet shifted beneath her, and her face brightend. “You’re writing about me?”
The taller girl glanced down shyly, but quickly remembered the circumstances and returned her gaze to the caper. “Well, um… Yeah.”
“Well,” Rachel started, a dazzling smile falling over her face, “It was very nice to meet you, Quinn Fabray. You have very pretty eyes, you know. But if you’ll excuse me, I have to run.”
It only took a second for the brunette to kick Quinn’s weapon from her hands clean across the room, blow a kiss, and bolt down the aisle.
“HEY!” Quinn scooped her gun back up and growled. “Oh, I love it when they run,” she sneered, taking chase after one Rachel Berry. This one was not getting away.
